Act 1

Director Comey – James Comey and Senate Intelligence Committee

November 6, 2018

Former FBI Director James Comey testifies before the Senate Intelligence Committee

Director Comey, how are you today?
Do you swear on you’re about to say?
On my honor, all I say is true
I’ve got a lot to say to you.
I ask the committee, see what I prepared
I’ll answer questions, based on what’s there.

Director Comey, we have your notes
Why are the President’s words the only ones in quotes?
From the day I met him, I didn’t trust a word
I had to capture everything I heard
After every encounter, I debriefed my staff
Every detail I remembered, had to cover my ass.

Director Comey, could you walk us through
The Oval Office meeting, what he said to you.
Sessions tried to stay back, like he somehow knew
But the President waved him off, it was just us two
“About Mike Flynn, he’s a good guy you know
Could you see your way to letting him go?”

Director Comey, take us to that time
When he called you directly, invited you to dine.
He called on several occasions, invited me to dine
I couldn’t refuse, he was my boss at the time.
I’ve seen this before, he asked for loyalty
I said you’ll get the truth, and impartiality

Director Comey, thanks for your time today
Do you have anything else to say?
In my years of law enforcement, I’ve seen his kind
I’ve seen this behavior in organized crime.
A final observation, this is a surreal twist
It’s certainly possible, the Russian Pee Tape might exist
